SHAWN GILSON

ABOUT

Shawn is originally from the former "Honeymoon Capital" of the America, The Pocono Mountains located in Northeast Pennsylvania. He studied, lived, and worked in the growing city of Pittsburgh for over 3 years before starting a new life in Wilmington, North Carolina. He has been making movies with friends since he was 12, and knew he has always wanted to work in the film/TV industry since he was a kid. He holds an associate's in Radio/TV from Northampton Community College and as of just recently a Bachelors of Arts degree in Cinema Production from Point Park University, concentrating in film editing and production design, but has learned many other positions along the way. He has most recently interned as a key member in this year's 2018 Carnegie Mellon University's International Film Festival and is currently editing a feature horror/comedy film for Unreality Entertainment titled "The Krampus Carol" expected for release in December 2018. Among the many goals for Shawn, he hopes most to work steadily in the film and TV business in production and post-production work, while continuing to learn the field and hopefully even one day have a screenplay produced.
